Matt Cribbins is the President of Generation Capital Limited, a private wealth management firm based in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to joining Generation Capital in 2018, Cribbins spent 23 years with General Electric where he was a finance executive with broad CFO, operations, and transformation experience developed in leadership positions at GE and GE Capital. At BlackBerry, I led product management and engineering for messaging and multimedia. And during the Napster years, I built one of the world’s first licensed music download companies.
I’m a recent JD/MBA graduate with a passion for investing in alternative assets. During my grad-school tenure, I was the managing director of the largest student-run alternative asset fund in the country. I’ve also spent time working in mutual fund sales and real estate. While I’m new to venture capital, I come from an entrepreneurial family, which fuels my desire to build and grow innovative companies.
